Lethwei, 86 fights per Wikipedia, which counts every win as a knockout; records of village and festival bouts are incomplete. Anadolu Agency (2018) said he had lost only twice in more than 50 fights by late 2016.

The story

Tun Tun Min grew up in a village in Mon State, the son and grandson of Lethwei fighters, and began training with sandbags and basic equipment at six. He left school in sixth grade to fight for prize money at pagoda festivals. In September 2014, aged 21, he beat Saw Nga Man to become the youngest openweight Golden Belt champion. The American Cyrus Washington knocked him out in a non-title bout that December, but Tun Tun Min stopped him in both of their later meetings. He lost the belt in 2016 when a knee injury forced him to quit against Dave Leduc, and had surgery in 2017. A Muslim of Mon descent, he has faced abuse from parts of the crowd. In August 2025 he won the vacant openweight belt again with a first-round headbutt knockout.

Arrive in range already punching: step in behind a jab or lead kick and land the right hook as your opponent reacts. Budget your power, because a five-round fight punishes an empty gas tank.
