The story
ong-O Gaiyanghadao, born Apichet Kotanon in Sakon Nakhon, had already won four Lumpinee Stadium titles, a Rajadamnern belt and the 2005 Sports Writers Fighter of the Year award before he joined ONE Championship in 2018. There he became the first ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion and defended the belt seven times, knocking out opponents with right crosses and chopping Liam Harrison down with leg kicks inside a round in 2022. His reign ended with a first-round knockout by Jonathan Haggerty in April 2023. Now fighting as Nong-O Hama at flyweight, he was ranked third in ONE's flyweight Muay Thai division in September 2026, with a long-awaited meeting with Rodtang booked for November.
