Final record per Wikipedia; Alphanews reports his November 2025 farewell as his 116th bout and 109th win.

The story

Giorgio Petrosyan left Armenia for Gorizia, in northern Italy, at 13 and learned the sport under Alfio Romanut at the Satori Gladiatorium gym. He had his first fight at 16 and spent the next 23 years making elite opponents miss. Nicknamed The Doctor for his calm, precise approach, the southpaw won the K-1 World MAX in 2009 and 2010, the Glory 70 kg Slam in 2012 and ONE's featherweight kickboxing Grand Prix in 2019. His game was built on footwork, timing and counters rather than brawling, and in 116 professional bouts he lost only three times: to Nonthanan Por. Pramuk in 2007, Andy Ristie in 2013 and Superbon in 2021. He retired after a farewell win in Milan in November 2025.

Southpaws should win the lead-foot battle like Petrosyan: keep your lead foot outside the orthodox opponent's, make them miss with small steps and slips, then counter with the straight left or a left kick to the liver.
