The story
llycia Hellen Rodrigues, born in Fortaleza, Brazil, started fighting at home before moving to Phuket to compete on Thailand's stadium circuit. In her ONE Championship debut in August 2020 she beat Stamp Fairtex by majority decision to win the atomweight Muay Thai world title. After a break of more than two years, during which her son was born, she returned in 2023 to beat interim champion Janet Todd and unify the belt. She has now defended it five times, including a left-hook knockout of Johanna Persson in 2025 and a split decision over Phetjeeja in 2026. Her game mixes long-range combinations with a punishing clinch of knees and elbows, and ONE calls her the longest-reigning female champion in its striking divisions.
