The story
rtem Levin comes from the coal-mining town of Prokopyevsk and started training to protect himself from bullies. He became the star of the Kuzbass Muay Thai team, winning IFMA amateur world titles and gold at the World Combat Games in 2010 and 2013, and made his professional name in Glory's middleweight division. After losing the 2013 Glory tournament final to Joe Schilling in an extra round, he returned in 2014 to beat Alex Pereira and then Schilling to win the Glory middleweight title, later keeping it with a draw against Simon Marcus. Levin relied on timing, odd angles and a spinning backfist, and he often showboated as opponents missed. His last recorded fight was a decision win over Zhou Wei in September 2019.
